Forensic Drug Analysis
Forensic Science Consultants is licensed to handle DEA controlled substances (Schedules 1, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, 5). Qualitative drug analysis at FSC is performed following SWGDRUG guidelines with confirmatory testing via Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) and/or Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). We also perform re-weighing of controlled substances on properly calibrated and certified analytical balances. We are also equipped to perform quantitative analysis of most controlled substances.

Forensic Science Consultants has the equipment and expertise to examine and compare microscopic particles of paint. Forensic Science Consultants employs scientists with years of experience in bloodstain pattern analysis (BSPA) and interpretation. Bloodstain pattern analysis can be often performed after the fact utilizing photographs and may yield valuable information concerning the events which lead to their creation when examined by a qualified analyst. The information gained can then be used for the reconstruction of the incident and the evaluation of the statements of the witnesses and the crime participants.
