Specializing in the analysis of trace evidence, we offer analytical testing and expert testimony on a wide variety of manufactured materials including paint (automotive and architectural), glass, fibers, filaments (bulb examination for on/off in traffic accidents), airbag residues, product tampering, bloodstain pattern analysis, fire debris and building materials. We also examine suspected controlled substances, hairs, latent fingerprints and impression evidence, such as footwear and tire tracks. Forensic Science Consultants is licensed to handle all schedules of controlled substances. We also employ a forensic geologist, providing unparalleled expertise in the examination of soil and minerals.

We utilize state-of-the-art analytical instrumentation such as micro-fourier transform infrared spectrometry, gas-chromatography mass-spectrometry, confocal microscopy, laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, visible microspectrophotometry, scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive spectroscopy and polarized light microscopy to offer analytical solutions many other forensic services cannot provide. Our analysts take pride in our efficiency as well as the quality of our work. Most cases are completed and a report is issued within a few days of receipt.

In 2014, to demonstrate our commitment to quality laboratory analysis, FSC achieved external international accreditation by A2LA under ISO Standard 17025:2005.
