Chemical Poison Analysis

Poisoning has a long history across many different societies. Although in the modern age, poisoning as a means of causing harm has decreased, that does not mean that it cannot be used to harm people. Traditional poisons are available, as are newer classes of poisons. No laboratory can test for every poison that exists. Using an appropriate analytical scheme, a qualified chemist can detect a wide variety of chemical poisons.

Very few forensic laboratories, government or private, have experience in the analysis of poisoning cases and very few will take such cases. At FSC, our analysts have decades of experience analyzing suspected poisons and utilize a wide range of effective instruments to analyze suspected adulterated items.
